| ok so its been way to long sense I have been on here, its been hard to get online in the past couple of years. A lot has been going on in my life. I am married to the most wunderful woman in the world, I am in the Army, I am now stationed in Colorado, and I am now back in IRAQ. this is my address if any of you wish to send me nice things while I am here, anything is welcome, and I have plenty of time on my hands for some spiritual development...(hint, hint) SPC Tobin, Darryl Echo Co, 2STB, 4ID FOB ECHO APO, AE 09332 I miss all of you more than you can know, I wish I could see all of you again. I get sad everytime I think of our times together on the bus and road because I miss you all so much. | wow peeps we need to update more!!!
This is Shane...It has been a while since I have been on here, but I thought I would just jump on and let you all know a little bit about what is going on in my life right now. Sarah and I moved to Texas back in January and shortly after moving here I got a job at good ole Teen Mania. I am working in Extreme Camps as the Activities Manager. I am also the Retreats and Conference Coordinator; So if any of you want to do a retreat on TM's campus you should let me know. I'll give you the hook up!
My main job is being in charge of ETAC and the Paintball fields, but I am in charge of all the games for Camps as well it has been a busy first few months and things keep getting busier and busier. But I think I like that way.
Sarah and I have been attending a church in Tyler called Life Point. You might remember it because it is located right next to the Tyler Airport on Hwy 64. Any way, things are going really well for us.
Being a Staff Associate I have been able to take part is several of the LTEs as well. I finally got to do the Endurance LTE adn actually did the whole 10k in 1hour 2min. 57sec. That's about a 10 minute mile. Not to bad for an old guy like me. A new one for me was the World Awareness LTE. If you dont know what that is just let me know and I can fill you in. Let's just say it involves a hostile take over of TM and lots and lots of Paintballs...way fun!!!
Right now I am working on a fund raiser for the incoming August class. We want to be able to give each incoming intern a $1,000 scholarship. Can you imagine what it would have been like for us as interns to receive $1,000!!! Yeah needless to say I am pretty excited to be a part of it. | Hey my wonderful team... this is Rebekah! So you remember when we were in Colorado Springs and went to Garden of the gods and stuff? Well, that's where I live now! CO Springs!
Anyway, I was watching the team video Meredith put together (go check out her site to see it) and it made me miss you all so much. I think we need to have a team reunion. I realize not EVERYONE would be able to attend all at the same time (unfortunately), but I'd really like to try something, maybe New Years?
Let me know what you all think. I'm sure between all our brilliant minds we can form some sort of plan.
